{"id":3037,"date":"2020-12-02T11:28:48","date_gmt":"2020-12-02T11:28:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salinareport.com\/?p=3037"},"modified":"2020-12-16T11:29:44","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T11:29:44","slug":"rogue-credit-union-distributes-1-15-million-wildfire-relief-fund-to-local-organizations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salinareport.com\/?p=3037","title":{"rendered":"Rogue Credit Union distributes $1.15 million wildfire relief fund to local organizations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than a million dollars donated towards Rogue Credit Union&#8217;s wildfire relief fund in the wake of the Almeda Fire will be distributed among 23 different non-profits, organizations, and other community staples in southern Oregon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur local non-profits and community organizations are doing incredibly important work,\u201d said Rogue Credit Union President and CEO Gene Pelham. \u201cWe are honored to help support their efforts to rebuild and heal our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of now, the fund has raised more than $1.15 million \u2014 compiled from donations both large and small, from individuals, businesses, foundations, and other credit unions as far away as Europe. Rogue Credit Union said that it will continue to accept donations to the fund.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to partner with Rogue Credit Union as this community responds and heals from the fires.
