{"id":3185,"date":"2020-12-09T13:03:22","date_gmt":"2020-12-09T13:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salinareport.com\/?p=3185"},"modified":"2020-12-16T13:04:19","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T13:04:19","slug":"medford-airport-anticipates-busy-holiday-travel-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salinareport.com\/?p=3185","title":{"rendered":"Medford airport anticipates busy holiday travel season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Rogue International Medford Airport is anticipating a busy holiday travel season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re still seeing a lot of folks coming in, taking their trips and going off to visit family and doing the things that they would normally do during the holiday season,&#8221; said Jason Foster, air service manager.<\/p>\n<p>Although\u00a0non-essential travel\u00a0isn&#8217;t reccomended during this time, Foster says a lot of people have already pre-planned and pre-booked their trips.<\/p>\n<p>Foster says their focus continues to be on keeping the airport safe for travelers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;ve upgraded the cleaners at the start of the pandemic to all hospital grade,&#8221; Foster said. &#8220;You can probably hear the HEPA air filters that we have going on around the airport right now, so we&#8217;re scrubbing the air 24\/7.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He says they might see a reduction in business travel over the holidays, but they&#8217;re remaining optimistic that traffic at the airport will return to normal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re looking forward to having people back and just making sure we&#8217;re doing the things to keep them safe when they do arrive,\u201d Foster said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rogue International Medford Airport is anticipating a busy holiday travel season. \u201cWe&#8217;re still seeing a lot of folks coming in, taking their trips and going off to visit family and doing the things that they would normally do during the holiday season,&#8221; said Jason Foster, air service manager.
