Unfortunately, the JCPH\u00a0reported 3more deaths due to coronavirus, bringing the local death toll to 69 since the pandemic began.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to the Jackson County Public Health officials, a 79-year-old man tested positive on November 22 and died December 27 at Providence Medford Medical Center. Another 79-year-old man tested positive on December 18 and died December 26 at Ashland Community Hospital. Both men had underlying conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.21429rem; color: #000000;\">An 86-year-old man tested positive on December 24 and died the next day at Rogue Regional Medical Center. Officials said that the presence of underlying conditions is still being confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jackson County also reported 69 new cases of the coronavirus on Monday, bringing the total since the beginning of the pandemic to 5,686.
